Bow down for BECCA

Who doesn’t want that luminous, dewy ‘I just naturally look this good’ kinda glow?

Well ladies, I have found it! After running into a friend who just looked so effortlessly fabulous, I had to ask about her secret. The thing is, there was no secret.

One word – BECCA.

This was a make-up brand that I heard about but had not had too much experience with, so I hit Sephora at the weekend on the hunt for my natural dewy glow.

Becca has quite an extensive ‘glow’ range. From liquid to powder and a poured creamy option, there is something for all preferences and skin types.

Shimmering Skin Perfector Poured: A rich creamy formula that is perfect for blending on top of your foundation or powder. Looks best when applied with a brush to get a natural luminous glow. Can also be used on top of a lip gloss for a hint of colour and glow.

Available in Moonstone, Opal, Pearl and Rose Gold. RRP: $60

Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed: The predecessor of the liquid Skin Perfector, the Pressed palette has a liquid base whilst still remaining a long-wearing pressed powder. It is extremely shimmering and perfect for those who want to add a little bit of shimmer to not only their face but also shoulders and collarbones. It is made up of ultra-fine pearly pigments that will adapt and compliment any skin tone, it’s a must for any beauty bag.

Available in Moonstone, Opal, Pearl, Rose Gold and the Limited Edition Blushed Copper. RRP: $60

Shimmering Skin Perfector: A sheer creamy liquid, the Shimmering Skin Perfector is the original cult favourite that even after all this time is still a must have for all beauty eds and those with a penchant for a dreamy glow. Like it’s counterparts, it too has light-reflecting particles that will adapt to the wearer’s skin tone. It can be worn in place of foundation with just a light powder dusting loosely over the top; mixed in with your foundation with just a hint of a healthy glow, or even added over the top of foundation and powder for a natural dewy look.

Available in Moonstone, Opal, Pearl, Rose Gold and Topaz. RRP: $66

I recently purchased the Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Glow Face Sculpt & Highlight (which I must mention is a favourite of Kim and Kylie’s – it’s amazing!) so I opted for the original liquid Shimmering Skin Perfector in the Becca range, and just over a week in I am already obsessed. It is very easy to use and I don’t know about you but sometimes I can over-do it on the shimmer and look like I dipped my my face in glitter, so the fact that I am able to mix it in with my foundation, whilst also having the option to apply it on top of my foundation and powder just makes it so user-friendly.

The motto ‘fake it til’ you make it’ has never rung so true. I will definitely be stocking up on the entire Becca Skin Perfector range.

Becca is available at Sephora as well as independent and national beauty retailers,  also and online at becca.com
